Trout

A small color chart for trout

Trout spinners in this app use one color family. Clear sunny water is silver. Clear cloudy water is gold. Stained water is copper. Muddy water, and any night session, is black. An inline spinner in a clear sunny river is the usual first pick, at 1/8 oz unless the wind is strong.

A woolly bugger is the backup when the spinner is wrong for the depth. It follows the same colors. The retrieve is a short strip and a pause, not a fast crank.
